She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Schnitzler and Anna Schnitzler (Dill); her husband Clifford S. Herndon; and her siblings, Edward "Ed", Peter "Bert", John Henry "Jack", Nelson Schnitzler and Sylvia Cavanaugh.
She is survived by: her daughters, Peggy Hicks (Norm) of Jefferson City, Marsha Baclesse (Gary) of Byrnes Mill, Betty Jean Herndon of Linn, Mary Davis (Carl) of Lincoln, NE and Marlene Niederhelm (Dan) of New Florence; and her grandchildren, Heather Dulle, Kendall Dulle (Jillian), Joshua Baclesse (Shelly), Jessica Baclesse (Jon Beanlands), Andrew Morton (Christina), Kurtis Morton (Michelle), Megan Field (Corry), Tyler Morton (Carley), Collin Davis, Alex Davis, Brian Niederhelm (Erica) and Ashley Lahr (JJ). She is also survived by 19 great grandchildren, along with many nieces and nephews.
