He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Huckstep and Clem Huckstep (Fincher); the mother of his children Maymie Huckstep; and his stepson Jerry Nilges. He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Meyer; his children, Tina Huckstep (Vickie) of Linn, Gina Huckstep (Brian Patterson) of Linn and J. D. Huckstep (Jen) of Jefferson City; his grandson Parker Wayne Patterson; his stepgrandchildren, Staisha Harrell, Gavin O'Rear and Mason Pierce; and his stepsons, K. P. Nilges of Linn and Terry Nilges of Linn.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to St. John's United Methodist Church or Harbor Place Bingo Fund.
