He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Wissmann and Anna Wissmann (Oberkrom); his brother George Wissmann; his brother-in-law Wendell Schneider; and his great-niece Baylor Schneider.
He is survived by: his sister Kaye Schneider of Mt. Sterling; his nephews, Jon Schneider (Cheryl) of Hermann and Todd Schneider (Laura) of Mt. Sterling; his great-nephews, Justin Schneider of Hermann and Briggs Schneider of Mt. Sterling; and his great-niece Megan Schneider of Hermann.
In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to Owensville Volunteer Fire Department Station Number 2 in Mt. Sterling.
