He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Hamburg and Alma Hamburg (Franken); his brother Elston Hamburg; and his brothers-in-law, David Kliethermes and Robert Niekamp.
He is survived by: his friend John Schaefer; his sons, Lukas Hamburg of Ashland and Jonah Hamburg of Cuba; and his siblings, Eugene Hamburg of Linn, Evelyn Niekamp of Linn and Edna Kliethermes of Linn. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins, and beloved friends.
