With heavy hearts, we announce the death of DVM Eugene Wayne Plegge (Linn, Missouri), born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on September 13, 2024 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Milton Herman and Marie Estelle McClain Plegge; his brothers, Morley Plegge and Gary Plegge; and his siblings-in-law, Al D'Angelo, Kermit Pohlmann, Kleo Pohlmann, Melvin Pohlmann, Kenneth Pohlmann, Darwin Pohlmann, Marian Pohlmann and Paulette Pohlmann.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his children, Debra Henderson (Carl) of Vienna and Mark Plegge of O'Fallon, Illinois; his grandchildren, Sarah Stratman (Matthew), Amanda Fagre (Justin), Katherine Smith (Nicholas) and Austin Henderson (Anastasia Stratman); his great grandchildren, Jack Stratman, Jase Smith, Clemens Fagre, Enrique and Vladimir Patino; and his siblings-in-law, Darlene D'Angelo, Marlyn Hofstetter (Dale), Janet McHale (John), MaryAnn Warmann (Roland), Eileen Pohlmann, Edna Mae Pohlmann, James Pohlmann and Larry Pohlmann (Lisa). He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
