He was predeceased by: his parents, Ambrose Rhoads and Hulda Rhoads (Helmig); his wife Bertha Rustemeyer; his daughter Marsha Bush; his brothers, Arthur, Mann and Don Rhoads; his half-brother Beryl Rhoads; his sisters, Verna Schaeperclaus, Clara Rhoads, Emma Jean Rhoads and Velva Rhoads; and his son-in-law Gary Reinkemeyer.
He is survived by: his children, Carla Reinkemeyer of Linn, Steve Rhoads (LeAnne) of Holts Summit, Tamara Rhoads Cigliana of Linn and Tom Rhoads (Christa) of Linn. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends.
