It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alice Nilges of Linn, Missouri, born in Chamois, Missouri, who passed away on January 17, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Edwards and Gertrude Edwards (Talken); her husband Fredrick "Freddie" Nilges; her siblings, Marie LaLande, Gladys Rudroff, Evelyn Fick, Raymond, Ralph and Rudy Edwards; her son-in-law Rodney Hughes; and her pet Allie.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Nilges, Lori Stiefermann of Cuba, MO, Robert Nilges (Linda) of Jefferson City and Lisa Burks (Dave) of Jefferson City; her grandchildren, Kati, Zach, Leah, Joseph, Megan, Kayla, Lauren, David, Joey, Angela, Kaley, Staci, Maggie, Nick and Max; her siblings, Bob Edwards (JoAnn) and Ann Fick (Al); and her sister-in-law Betsy Edwards. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and friends.
The family requests that masks be worn and social distancing guidelines be followed.
