He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruben Andrew Burns and Margorie Lee McGuire; his son Dale Dwane Burns; his wife Linda Sue Burns (Ward); his sister Brenda Burns Crain; and his stepfather Roy Manly.
He is survived by: his siblings, Lester Manly, Deborah, Margie and Beverly. He is also survived by several brother and sister in laws, with many relatives and friends.
