He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Watkins and Irene H. Watkins; and his brother-in-law Bryan Eads. He is survived by: his wife Brenda Watkins; his stepchildren, Melinda Hughes and Kevin Sellers; his grandchild Imogen Sellers; his sisters, Ginny Kuntemeyer (Rodney) and Teresa Eads; and also, Ron, Barbara Kaufmann and Annette Clemmons. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested to the American Diabetes Association.
