It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Rose Van Cleave in Linn Creek, Missouri, born in Kimmswick, Missouri, who passed away on August 5, 2020, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Briesacher and Julia Layton Briesacher; her husband Charles August Van Cleave III; and her siblings, Louis Briesacher, Frederick Briesacher Jr., Eugene Briesacher and Lorraine Briesacher.
She is survived by: her children, Karen (Steve Amsler) of Festus, Missouri, Charles (Kay Van Cleave) of Macks Creek and Michael (Maryann Van Cleave) of Macks Creek, Missouri; and her brother Virgil Briesacher of Columbia, Missouri. She is also survived by five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
