She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Miller and Iris Evelyn Miller (Shipman); her husband Merle E. Amos; and her sister Barbara Caudle. She is survived by: her children, Jeffrey Hanks (Reta) of Camdenton, Dan Hanks (Laura) of Linn Creek, Missouri, Lynette Avery (Richard) of Ewa Beach and Susan Holsburg (Frank) of Raytown, Missouri; her grandchildren, Emily, Floyd, Brandon, Jennifer, Joe Jr and Jacob; and her sister Jacque Adams of Lebanon. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations are suggested to the New Beginnings Baptist Church.
