He is survived by: his former wife Connie Sue Sudduth; his wife Sylvia Elam; his sons, Jakan Elam (Laura) of Kings George and Casey Elam (Nicole) of Green Ridge; his stepson Mitchell Byrd of Little Rock, Arkansas; his siblings, Cathy Lemler (Chriss) of Harrisonville, Linda "Cricket" Sanders (Keith) of Sedalia, Clarence Elam, Jr. (Karen) of Overland Park, Bill Elam (Angie) of Harrisonville and David Elam of Kansas City; his grandchildren, Maddie, Nathaniel, Emily Rose, Blake, Justin, Jessica, Makayla, Carson and Caleb; and his great grandchildren, Olivia and Kade.
