He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Caton and Dana Mae Caton (Purtee); his wife Wanda L. Gehlken; his daughter Diane R. Caton; and his siblings, Wayne, Dean, Jim and Virginia.
He is survived by: his children, Gary W. Caton (Debbie) of Cole Camp, MO, Sherry L. Caton of St. Martins, MO, Penny A. Florez of Lincoln, MO and James Caton of Ridgecrest, CA; and his grandchildren, Rachal Wegener, Bonnie Lawton, Nicholas Caton, Monica Seidner, Jessica Renner, Jennifer Chesire, Randy Florez, Joel Florez, Karrah Pirtle, Krista Driskell, Danielle Pate, Tiffany Caton, Robert Caton and Joseph Caton. He is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to Good Samaritan Care Center and may be left in the care of Heckart Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
