He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Amon Higgins and Lucy Francis Higgins (Thompson); his wife Karen Denise Nolen; his son Michael Higgins (Jana) of El Paso, TX; his stepchildren, Donald Worthley (Alicia) of Lincoln, MO, William Worthley of Lee's Summit, Kelly Worthley of Springfield, MO and Katherine Krueger (Jarred) of Exeter, NE.; his grandchildren, Donovan, Caitlin, Samuel, Henry, Blair, Darnelle, Kristin, Tyler, Selena, Vanessa, Amber, McKenize, Micah, Wyatt, Eli, Abigail, Gracie, Derick and Elliott; and his great grandchildren, Gabriella and Amelia.
