He was predeceased by: his parents, August Meyer and Katie Meyer (Ditler); his sister Ruth Bistline; and his siblings-in-law, Gloria Meyer, Eric Mueller, Leo Bistline and Junior Orfield.
He is survived by: his wife Carrie Meyer; his sons, Bruce Meyer (Lisa) of Mechanicsville, Rick Meyer (Bernadette) of Strafford and David Meyer (Barb) of Sedalia; his siblings, Helen Orfield of Lincoln and Alvin Meyer of Warsaw; and his grandchildren, Laura, Rodney, Jon, Kristie, Landon, Matthew, Michelle, Kathleen, Andrew and Christopher. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family suggests memorial contributions be given to Zion Lutheran Church in care of the Fox Funeral Home, PO Box 37, Cole Camp, MO 65325.
