It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Charles Edgar West of Lincoln, Missouri, born in Mitchell, Indiana, who passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar West and Frances West (Martin); his former wife Lillian Francka; and his siblings, Bill, Eugene, Earl West, Kay Martin and Helen Harris.

He is survived by: his children, Gary (Tami West) of Davenport, Susan (Lannie Lynxwiler) of Reyno, Jo Ann (John Carpio) of St. Louis and David (Shelley West) of St. Louis; his wife Betty Engel; his stepson Jeff Engel (Jacki) of Seymour; and his stepgrandchildren, Jefferson and Julianna.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Church (2200 W Republic Rd, Springfield, MO 65807). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Building Fund.
