He was predeceased by: his parents, L. K. Mehrens and Blanche A. Mehrens (Martin); his wife Barbara Lea Moeller of St. Louis; his brother Johnny; and his sister-in-law Judie Gerken.
He is survived by: his children, Bobby Joe Mehrens Jr. (Dana) of St. Joseph, MO and June Jordan (Vince) of Marshall; his grandson Alex Mehrens; and his siblings-in-law, Ella Mehrens of Lincoln and Willard Gerken of Lincoln.
