He is survived by: his parents, Frank Smith and Emma Smith (Bushman); his children, Ed Smith of Trimble, MO, Sharon DeJaynes of Lincoln, MO and Karen Anderson of Camdenton, MO; his sister Irene Harris (Cliff) of Raymore, MO; and also Sherry of Trimble, MO. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
