It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clover Bankhead Williams of Lilbourn, Missouri, born in Murphysboro, Illinois, who passed away on March 2, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnnie Bankhead and Annie Pearl Cole Bankhead; her daughter Laurie Ann Williams; and her brothers, Theodis Bankhead, John Lee Bankhead and George Howard Bankhead.
She is survived by: her sons, DeWayne Edward "Wanky" Williams and Marcus George Williams of Cape Girardeau; her siblings, Luther Aaron Bankhead (Suzanne) of East Germany, Sherman Bankhead of Indianapolis, Frazier Bankhead of Cape Girardeau, Hurah Lee Bankhead (Carolyn), Carl Edward Bankhead of Lilbourn and Devoratha Liggens of Atlanta; and her pets, Dahlia and Onyx. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
