He is survived by : his children, Courtney Tharp, Madeline Hoyes and Wyatt Hoyes; his son-in-law Jason Tharp; his granddaughter Isla Tharp; his sister Heather Hoyes Burnett (Chad); his nephews, CJ, Cameron, Brandon Burnett and Jacob Smith; his niece Hanna Burnett; his uncles, Alan Stevens and Keith Stevens; and his aunt Linda Rush.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 20th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the Porter Funeral Home (8535 Monrovia, Lenexa, KS 66215).
