He was predeceased by: his parents, Evelyn Baker Childress and Lester Childress, Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Laura Stinnett (Ken) and Brian Childress (Lisa); his brother Kirby Childress (Cindy); and his grandchildren, Kelsey Childress, Jack Childress and Bill Childress.
