He is survived by: his wife Maxine Garlington (Hickem); his children, Elmo Garlington Jr. (Irene), Eric W. Garlington (Pat), Anita Garlington of Kansas City, MO, Shelia Holmes (Charles) of Blue Springs, MO and Mary West (Charles); and his daughter-in-law Donna Gross. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
