He was predeceased by: his parents, Willis Doyle and Viriginia Frances Young (Bell). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Leona Rhodes; his children, Kim Smith (Steve) of Excelsior Springs, MO and Geoffrey Young (Carolyn) of Easton, KS; his grandchildren, Alesia Young of Lathrop, MO, Aireal Humphrey (Shelton) of Calhan, CO, Adrianna Smith of Independence, MO, Shayla Smith (Dillon Prokos) of Stewartsville, MO, Aaron Smith of Excelsior Springs, MO, Stephanie, Jacquline and Damien; his great grandchildren, Beau, Kloey, Kaiden, Ruxton, Brooklynn, Audrey and Chloe; and his brothers-in-law, Marvin Rhodes (Elmond) of Parachute, CO and Kenneth Rhodes of Arvada, CO. He is also survived by Aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other extended family.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lathrop Antique Show Grounds (2488 MO-33, Lathrop, MO 64465).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to the American Heart Association or American Cancer Association in care of the funeral home.
