He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence W. McKay Sr. and Maxine Bowman-McKay (Bob Owen); his stepmother Maxene McKay; and his niece Amanda McKay Rimer. He is survived by: his wife Rose Mary McKay; his brother Ronald W McKay (Sally); his children, Jenise Schraad, Steven McKay (Renee), Pamela Vogler (Vince), Teresa Wells (Rick Garand) and Marlene Bennett (Mike); his grandchildren, Dylan (Theresa), Shania, Whitney (James), Jacob (Abby), Caleb (Kate), Tyler (Tara), Derek (Haley), Cami, Emily (Casey), Harley, Haley and Kai; and his great grandchildren, Augustus, Hendrick, Nolan, Carson, Madelyn, Emmelia, Stevie, Ruby, Asher, Ember, Dean, Emma, Connor, Mason, Jaydlynn and Alexis.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Catholic Church (309 S Stewart Rd, Liberty, MO 64068). A rosary was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 10:40 AM at the same location. A Mass was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Crown Hill Cemetery.
