Margaret Lee Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 31, 2025, at the age of 96, Margaret Lee Smith of Liberal, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Bunton and Dorothy Bunton; her husband Don; her son Linden Ray "Butch" Smith; and her sisters, Ellen Marie Lipscomb and Lucy Noyes.
She is survived by: her children, Phil Smith (Janet) of Liberal, Missouri, Cindi Fletcher (Dale) of Joplin, Missouri and Leah Nell Smith of Tulsa, Oklahoma.; and her grandchildren, Jennifer (Jon Page), Aaron (Renee Thompson), Melisha (Ryan Meredith), Jason (Mandy Thompson), Courtney Shafer, Morgan Shafer and Katie Smith. She is also survived by 14 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hannon Freewill Baptist Church in care of the funeral home.
