With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris D. Whitson (Liberal, Missouri), born in Foss, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 18, 2020 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Willie Carl and Lonnie Ethel Johnson (Wesner); her husband Charles W. Whitson; her children, Gary Whitson of Liberal, MO, Elaine Ledford (Charles) of Ft. Scott, KS and Mary Ellen Street (Tom) of Tulsa, OK; her sister Carlene James of Canute, OK.; her grandchildren, Michael Ledford, Christopher Ledford, Jordan Whitson, Katie Whitson-Benson, Wesley Street and Amy Hawkins; and her great grandchildren, Angel, Mystie Ledford, Liam, Rhys, Violet Street, Samuel, Benjamin Hawkins and Isla Whitson.
