She was predeceased by: her parents, Myrl Stephenson and Almeda Stephenson; her husband Ralph Smith; her grandson James Hoag; and her siblings, Lois Etter and Leroy Stephenson.

She is survived by: her children, Marlene Beard (Mark) of Lockwood, MO, Patty Smith of Joplin, MO, Tammy Criner of Pittsburg, KS, Dorothy Spivey (Rick) of Liberal, MO and Andrew Smith (Amber) of Pittsburg, KS.; her siblings, Donna Rotramel (Deryle) of Liberal, MO and Wayne Stephenson (Shirley) of Springfield, TN; and her pet Appa. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren.

A funeral service was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Konantz Warden Funeral Home (1301 Gulf St, Lamar, MO 64759).
