He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles C. Ramsey and Nanniel Elizabeth (Adcock); his former wife Virginia Lea Miller; his wife Lola "Kay" VanDorn; his former wife Virgina; his siblings, Eugene Cox and Jane Nutting; and his grandsons, Jacob Williams and Johnathan Callison.
He is survived by: his children, David Ramsey (Judy) of Kansas City, MO, Vicky Deering of Smithville, Vicki Volkman (Carl) of Pineville, Sandra Sutton (John) of Leonard Town, Maryland, Nanette Shoemaker of Kansas City, MO and Angela Lemieux (Patrick) of Kansas City, MO. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great grandchildren.
