She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Uhl and Martha Viola Porter (Shriner); her brothers, Raymond, Ralph "Jack" and Robert "Bobby"; her daughter-in-law Lisa Porter; her nephew David Burton; and her brothers-in-law, Donald Burton and Samuel Root II.

She is survived by: her children, Richard Porter (Independence) and April Sollars (Maysville); her grandchildren, Hunter, Gracey, Kenlee, Baylee and Landyn; and her sisters, Mildred "Maxine", Mary Jane, Dorothy, Arvella, Shirley and Grace. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
