It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Ronald Allen Amer (Lexington, Missouri), who passed away on March 11, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert "Beans" Amer and Marguerite Amer (Dunkle); his wife Ruth Ann of Lexington; and his sisters, Sylvia Haworth of Springfield and Sharon Bayne of Lexington.
He is survived by: his daughters, Renee Fordyce (Richard) of Bethany and Stefanie Riggs (Jason) of Lebanon; his stepdaughter Kim Massey of Blue Springs; his grandchildren, Ethan Fordyce of Green City, Emma Fordyce of Jefferson City, Bailey Mitchell (Gabe) of Lebanon and Keeley Riggs (Brennen) of Lebanon; his stepgrandchildren, Zach Massey and Jared Massey of Blue Springs; his great grandchild Cruze Keller of Lebanon; and his sister Sandy Harris (Phillip) of Springfield.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lexington First Assembly of God Church (2090 Berkeley St, Lexington, MO 64067). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Compassus Hospice Care of Osage Beach or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
