He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Alonzo and Lora Ellison (Sloan); his former wife Betty Joan Kelley; his daughters, Wanda Ellison and Paula Jorgensen; his stepson Michael Calvert; and his stepdaughter-in-law Rita Moyer Calvert.
He is survived by: his wife Fern Ellison (Nadler) of Lexington, MO; his daughters, Patricia Ellison of Lexington, MO and Penny Smith (Chuck) of Lexington, MO; his son-in-law Jeff Jorgensen of Lee's Summit, MO; his stepsons, Dennis Calvert of Houston, TX, Keith Calvert of Richmond, MO and Lindell Calvert of Mayview, MO; his grandchildren, Chaz Smith (Toni), Ryan Jorgensen (Josey) and Jared Jorgensen (Hadley); and his brother Paul Ellison of Liberty, MO. He is also survived by ten step grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; six step great grandchildren; two step great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Trinity United Church of Christ.
