She was predeceased by: her parents, Forrest Edgar and Irene Engel McGinnis (Ahrentschild); her husband James Thorp; and her siblings, Susie McGinnis, Harlan McGinnis, Roger McGinnis, Ronnie McGinnis and Jimmy McGinnis.
She is survived by: her friend Phyllis; her children, Sherry Gray (Joe) of Lexington and Michael Thorp (Christy) of Lexington; her grandchildren, Andrew Gray (Merissa) of Higginsville, MO, Shelby Gray of Lexington, MO, Morgan Thorp of Lexington, MO and Kaitlyn Thorp of Lexington, MO; her great grandchildren, Hunter Gray, Tucker Gray and Emberlyn Jo Gray; and her brothers, Larry McGinnis of Corder, MO and David McGinnis (Penny) of Blue Springs, MO. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
