He is survived by: his former wife Barbara Payne; his children, Scotty Flanigan (Kalyn) of Lexington, Sara Begemann (David) of Blue Springs, Sandra Beck of Excelsior Springs and Shaun Flanigan (Julie) of Blue Springs; and his siblings, Dorothy Ayers of Grain Valley, Hazel Nuelle of Higginsville, Patsy Smith (Gordon) of Kansas City, William "Bill" Flanigan of Lexington, Lawrence "Eddie" Flanigan (Margaret) of Lexington, Charles "Donnie" Flanigan (Mary) of Jefferson City and Alvin Lee Flanigan (Marcia) of Florida. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
