It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Lorraine (Walker) Leavelle of Lexington, Missouri, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on June 8, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Noah Jay and Ruby Walker (Williams); her son Kendall David Whitney; and her siblings, Carolyn Colburn, Jeanette Smith and Roy McKenny.
She is survived by: her friend Mary; her husband Kirk Leavelle of Lexington, MO; her sons, Jay Whitney of Lexington, MO and Lawrence Kirk Leavelle, Jr. of Lexington, MO; her grandchildren, Jace Whitney and Hayes Whitney; and her sisters, Charlene Lee of Boonville, MO, Bonita Walker of Lexington, MO and Debbie Simpson (Bruce) of Kansas City, KS. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Lexington Food Pantry.
