She was predeceased by: her parents, Karl Gadt and Sarah Gadt (Sandifer); her husband William "Jack" Franklin Lamar Woodward; and her siblings, Jim Gadt, Bob Gadt and Anna Ray-Lierman.

She is survived by: her children, Jackie Johnston of Lexington, William "Scott" Woodward of Excelsior Springs, Christopher Woodward of Oak Grove and Eric Woodward of Lexington; her grandchildren, Nicholas Scott Woodward, Shelby Woodward-Scott (Andre Scott), Chelsey Cheyenne Johnston, Carter Ryan Woodward, Amanda K. Woodward-Dallman (Joe Dallman) and Robert "Bob" Jenkins of Lexington; and her great grandchildren, Cathy Pohle, Robert Jenkins and Chuck Jenkins. She is also survived by bird watching, attending her son's.
