She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Skinner and Lulu Belle Skinner (Welch); and her stepfather Harold Morris. She is survived by: her husband Michael Turner of Kansas City, MO; her daughter Mikaylin Turner of Lexington, MO; and her sisters, Mary Ann Skinner of Lexington, MO, Lori Herpich (Paul) of Lawrence and Marcia Lynn (Greg) of Hixson, Tennessee. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Memorials are suggested to Mikaylin Turner for a donation to Cottey College at a later date.
