He is survived by: his children, Chris Luehrs (Sheri) of Lexington, MO and Valerie Luehrs of Lee's Summit, MO; his grandchildren, Derrick Jesse Luehrs and Lacey Luehrs of Virginia; and his siblings, Joyce Mittie (Larry) of Lee's Summit, MO, Larry Luehrs (Sheila) of Lexington, MO and Jim Luehrs of Hickory, NC. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
