It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Adelle (Truitt) Copenhaver of Lexington, Missouri, born in Long Beach, California, who passed away on November 24, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Truitt and Lola Truitt (Minks); her husband Hugh Delbert Copenhaver; and her brother John Edward Truitt. She is survived by: her sons, Gary Copenhaver (Barb) of Lexington, MO and Bruce Copenhaver (Gayle) of Lexington, MO; her grandchildren, Chad Copenhaver (Hannah) of Higginsville, MO, Cara Riekhof (Garrett) of Higginsville, MO and Amanda Thompson (Graham Padley) of Higginsville, MO; her great grandchildren, Wyatt, Clara Copenhaver, Annika, Makenna, Garrison Riekhof and Rhett Thompson; her sister Doris Hughes (Raymond) of Bolivar, MO; and her nephew David Hughes.
