She was predeceased by: her parents, Merritt Ragan and Carrie Ragan (Russell); her husband Roy C. Stanger; her daughter Susan Hightower; and her siblings, Noble, Ervil, Gaylord, Gleason, Dorothy, Gladys and Alberta.
She is survived by: her daughters, Viola Sopher and Barbara J. Sopher (Jim Jr.); her son-in-law Terry Hightower; her grandsons, Jason M. Sopher (Tara) and Chris R. Sopher; and her great grandchild Riley Sopher.
In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Animal's Best Friend or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
