We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2020 we had to say goodbye to Edward Leon Haynes (Lexington, Missouri), born in Higginsville, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Amiel S. Haynes and Clara Mae Haynes (Fields); his wife Sophia Mae Bolton; and his siblings, Frederick Haynes, Kent Haynes and Donna Marie Haynes.

He is survived by: his daughter Sheila Lee of Lexington; his close friend Arluster Bass of Odessa; his uncle Willie Fields of Higginsville; his aunt Mabel Lee Jackson of Higginsville; and his siblings, Larry Haynes (Brenda) of Olathe, Ronald Haynes of Raytown, Leslie Haynes (Francis) of Higginsville, Reginald Haynes of Independence, Dorothy Bass (Lawrence) of Warrensburg, Katherine Haynes of Independence and Denice Haynes of Independence. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; one great grandchild and a host of nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to the Second Baptist Church.
