He was predeceased by: his parents, Emmett Stapleton, Jr. and Katherine Casdorph (Karras); and his stepbrother Scott Casdorph. He is survived by: his daughter Alexis Marie Stapleton of Independence; his siblings, Sylvia Stapleton, Christy Rasa, Lorretta Stapleton, Kim Stapleton, Lisa Brockert, Ronnie Williams, John Williams and Emmett Williams; his close friend Claudus Mallot; and his stepfather Fred Casdorph. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
