He was predeceased by: his parents, David William and Alberta Ballew (Cado); and his uncle James Cado. He is survived by: his wife Ruth of Lexington; his daughter Ashley Krause (John) of Farmington; his grandchildren, Montana (Alex) and Emerson Krause (Rachel); his daughter Season Yerasimides of Texas; his grandchildren, London, Aidan Cale and Avery; his daughter Bobbie Jammes (Libby) of Lexington; his grandchildren, Chance, Kimber and Kylie; and his brothers, Paul Ballew of Indiana, Steven Ballew of Windsor and John Ballew of Higginsville. He is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
The family asks that donations be made to the James Cado Scholarship Fund or Beacon of Hope Hospice, Blue Springs, Missouri.
