He is survived by: his wife Diane Avant of Lewistown; his children, Curtis Avant (Deb) of Oklahoma City, Cyd Connelly (Stephen) of Lewistown and Keith Avant of Oklahoma City; his grandchildren, Ally Stark (Andrew), Meagan Connelly, Erin Avant, Klint Avant (Courtney), Hayden Avant (Haley), Samuel Avant, Joshua Avant and Isaiah Avant; his great grandchildren, Ava Stark, Bells Stark, Brinlee Avant, Gus Stark and Sidney Avant; and his nieces and nephews, Bruce Thompson (Michelle), Tony Thompson (Allie), Krici Mohr (Mark), Kaci Collins (Sherman) and Kimi Minton.
