We are sad to announce that on September 14, 2023, at the age of 83, Lois Hinton of Lewistown, Missouri passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond VanMeter and Elaine VanMeter (Silvey); her husband David Bruce Hinton; and her brother-in-law Larry Perkins. She is survived by: her children, Vanessa Miller (Jim) of Kirksville, MO and Richard D. Hinton (Sharon) of Canton, MO.; her grandchildren, Janna Ingram (Dustin) of Brookfield, MO, Justin Miller of Kirksville, MO, Clayton Hinton of Monticello, MO and Tyler Hinton (Jason Miller) of Canton, MO; her great grandchildren, Kyle Hinton, Allison Ingram and Lucas Ingram; and her siblings, Louise Perkins of Cape Carteret, NC, Mike VanMeter (Jeanette), Roger VanMeter (Janis) of Lewistown, MO and Phyllis Segawa (Wes) of Hilo, Hawaii. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
The family suggests memorials be made to Hadley's Hope.
