He is survived by: his children, Dean Lay (Debbie) of Lewistown, MO, Kent Lay of Quincy, IL, John Lay (Shelly) of St. Peters, MO, Tammy Mercado of Casselberry, FL and Becky Beach (Ken) of Davenport Iowa; his grandchildren, Mariah Nelson, Donna Dunn (Lonnie), Michael Lay (A. J.), Kristin Robinson (Jamie Leonard), Kelsey Lay (Tyler Hopkins) and Ryan Lay (Alyssa Carnes); his great grandchildren, Magen Hall (Tyler), Logan Dunn, Lila Lay, Kylie Lay and Madi Lay; his great great grandchild Hudson Hall; his brother John Lewis Freiling Jr. (Laura Bohannon) of St. Simons Island, Georgia; his nieces and nephews, John Freiling (Sheila) and Lynn Neff (Steven); and his cousin Barbara Brown (Frank).
