It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Joseph Hawkins Sr. of Lesterville, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on February 6, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Esther Paubel Hawkins and Richard Hawkins. He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Hawkins of Lesterville; his son Richard Hawkins Jr. (Rachel) of Edwardsville; his stepsons, Gabriel Sylvia (Kim) of Wake Forest and Brett Sylvia (Lori) of Fort Hood; his grandson Bradly Hawkins; his sisters, Susan Hawkins Hawn (Danny) and Vicky Hawkins Swederska (Mike); his niece Leanna Hahn; and his nephews, Quin and Ben Swederska. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, many cherished cousins and friends.
In respect to his wishes and concerns about the Covid Crisis, there will be no funeral service.
