He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Cooper (Lily) and Lily Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Gloria Cooper of St. Clair; his sons, Robert "Bob" Cooper (Taffany) of Union and James Cooper (Christy) of Beaufort; his grandchildren, Amber Wallace (Kenny) of Union, Kelsey Ferkel (Luke) of Union, Grace Cooper of Beaufort and Carter Cooper of Beaufort; and his great grandchildren, Charles Ferkel, Everlynn Wallace, Cooper Ferkel and Khloie Wallace. He is also survived by nieces; nephews; other relatives and many friends.

Memorial donations to Evergreen Baptist Church are preferred.
