He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter and Margaret; his sisters, Iola and Earline; and his children, Aprell and Jimmy.

He is survived by: his wife Deborah; his daughter Charlene Flotte (Greg); and his brothers, Dennis and Alan (Shirley). He is also survived by five grandchildren and one great-grandson.
