He was predeceased by: his wife Therese; his son Michael; his grandson Andrew; and his siblings, Mildred Birke (William) and Cornelius Eckstein (Marie).
He is survived by: his parents, Rudolph Eckstein and Katharine Eckstein; his children, Margaret Mager (Stephen), Mary Duchek (Ron), Rudy Eckstein (Mary), Steve Eckstein (Kerry Pedecone) and Linda Markus (Doug); his daughter-in-law Lisa Eckstein; and his great grandchildren, Anthony Holdmeyer and Delma Holdmeyer.
