She was predeceased by: her husband William "Doc" Newell; and her sons, Steven and Ben Bommarito. She is survived by: her children, Tony Bommarito (Victoria), Donna Shipp (Mike) and Becky Ortinau (Tim); her grandchildren, Dana Maness (Brian), Zachary, Gabrielle, Natalie Ortinau, Jay (Jeannie), Chris and Tara Shipp; and her sister Rose Travers.
